Deluxe Whale Watching

Cruise along the shorelines of Admiralty Island, known as the "Kootznoowoo" or “Fortress of the Bears.” It boasts the largest concentration of Alaskan Brown Bears and Bald Eagle nests in the world. While cruising around the islands of Stephens Passage we often encounter and photograph Humpback Whales and Stellar Sea Lions, along with Harbor Seals, Dall Porpoise, Orcas (Killer Whales), an occasional Otter, and a variety of sea and shore birds. Our personal tour-style and high speed boat allows us to observe and photograph marine mammals in their natural environment, while safely and comfortably enjoying the rugged Alaskan scenery. Learn about these huge mammals, and more, in a personalized manner from your licensed Alaskan guide and Captain. No guarantees on this trip, but we haven’t been “skunked” yet!

Wilderness Water Adventure

Totally relax on your own private, all-inclusive, premium tour. This tour includes some or all of the following: whale-watching, observing other land and sea wildlife, light-house viewing, glacier viewing, shoreline exploration, and (optional) fishing. Because this is a very private tour, the amount of time engaged in the various activities offered is strictly up to you! Approximately mid-way through the tour, your Captain will pull into a quiet wilderness harbor where you will enjoy a “gourmet Alaskan-style lunch.”

Juneau’s Sportfishing Challenge – 5 or 7 hours

Enjoy trolling for the famous Alaskan wild salmon in un-crowded comfort. Relax as you take in the breath-taking scenery surrounding you while fishing the deep pristine waters of the Alaskan fjords. If you’re having trouble making up your mind, remember that all fishing tours are whale-watching and wildlife tours, but we have yet to see a “whale watching” boat successfully fishing while on a tour!

Stephen’s Passage and Tracy Arm Adventure

The narrow fjord called Tracy Arm twists and turns for over 30 miles, culminating in a spectacular view of the twin tidewater Sawyer Glaciers. Your captain will navigate as close as the ice floe allows, stopping for an extended stay at the face of the glacier. Watch for seals relaxing on the icebergs, bald eagles soaring above the cliffs and many other animals that call this area home.

Halibut Hunting – 9 or 11 hours

Enjoy drifting and jigging for Pacific Halibut aboard the most productive bottom-fishing charter in town. The bottom fishing is excellent at all times of the year due to an abundant supply of Halibut, Cod and Rockfish in the area. The additional time spent running to the more distant fishing grounds provide ample opportunity for whale and wildlife viewing along the way.

Multi-Day Excursions

Call us and let Case assist you in planning the ultimate adventure. Cruising from cove to cove, town to town and lodge to lodge is called “gunkholing,” and it’s the way locals prefer to see S.E. Alaska. In addition to the equipment and snacks provided on all of our tours, all multi-day excursions also include meals and overnight lodging. Note: “1 night” includes 1 night and up to 12 hours of daylight boating. All trips are custom quoted to suit your specific needs.
